I was going to come in today and write a bit about our Thanksgiving and more of an explanation of some of those pictures, but I am a bit freaked out. This morning I was playing on the floor with the kids and I went to get up to get something and as I look out the window I see a blue gray van pulled up in front of our house and a lady getting out with a camera and snapping a picture quick. Now that made me curious, but not overly concerned, but whas has me concerned is the fact that when the man in the passenger seat saw me he started talking very quickly, he was on the phone, but this seemed directed at the girl with the camera. And she then quickly hopped back in the van and they pulled up in the driveway across the street and hurried out of here, with a red van with gold trim right behind them waiting while they took the picture and quickly following them on their exit. I have a brief description of the girl taking the picture, and pretty much just the colors of the vans, other than noting that they both had Minnesota license plates. I don't know for sure if they were taking pictures of my house or the neighbors, but me sitting here by myself with other people's kiddos is making me just a tad uneasy about the whole situation!

Heidi, you're a Chosen One!

Your personality is actually determined by two personality sub-types - your primary, or dominant sub-type, and your secondary sub-type. You are a Chosen One which means you are a Golden / Seeker Your primary sub-type is defined by "Golden" characteristics and your secondary sub-type is defined by "Seeker" characteristics.

That means you're warm, giving, knowing, and patient. Chances are you're not afraid to actively pursue your goals and dreams. As if all that weren't enough, you pretty much set the standard for emotional health by being filled with positive feelings and energy.

Ok so Holli over at Baby Faith asked nicely so here I go with a meme just for her....

First name? Heidi

Were you named after anyone? My first name I was named after a friend of my Mom's who she used to baby sit for and my middle name was my great grandma's.

When did you last cry? When hubby was gone to Ohio for his grandfather's funeral.

Do you like your handwriting? No not really, I write big and sloppy, I really have to force myself to write neatly.

What's your favorite lunch meat? Oscar Meyer Bologna! It grosses hubby out, but I say oh well more for me lol! I love love love those Lunchables where you get the crackers, cheddar cheese, and bologna!

If you were another person, would you be friends with you? Ummmmm I guess so. I mean what kind of person would I be if I said no way!? Yeah there are things I like about myself that I don't like and am really working hard to change, but generally I guess the answer would be yes.

Do you journal? Yes here and in a handwritten journal, but I am much better about journaling here than in the hand written one. Sometimes I am just not near the computer or it's something that just seems silly and I need to vent out and work through it and get it all out instead of it running circles around my head.

Do you still have your tonsils? Yep, I have had no major surguries or anything. Stitches a couple of times and a trip to the er after I knocked out my front teeth by running into the back of the car. They couldn't find the teeth and were worried about what happened to them so I got to make a fun little trip to the hospital. They never did find them, my Dad remembers the teeth marks I left in the back of the car, my biggest memory of that was the sucker they gave me when I was ready to go home!

Would you bungee jump? One word. NO! Ok so my biggest phobia is heights! If I have a firm foundation under me I am ok, but fair type rides, edges of mountains, certain ladders/scaffolding, FREAKS ME OUT TO NO END! So no worries on me doing anything like that!

What is your favorite cereal? I don't eat alot of cereal, but I love Cinnamon Toast Crunch! Hadn't thought about it for a long time until I read your answers too, Holli, but I love that Peanut Butter Cap'n Crunch too! Going shopping this afternoon I may just have to pick some up! Thanks Holli lol!

Do you untie your shoes when you take them off? No. Odd thing for me is I have to untie them then to put them on again though. K thinks I'm nuts and just slips his back on!

Do you think you are strong? No! Especially not after a day of holding the chunky little baby C!

What is your favorite ice cream flavor? Mint chocolate chip! Yummy!

Shoe size? 9 1/2 to 10 depending on the shoe

Favorite color? Blue

What is your least favorite thing about yourself? I tend to take things WAYYYYYYYYYY too personally! I really need to not get so emotionally involved and step back and not think I did something wrong all the time.

Who do you miss the most? My great uncle Jim. He lived out in Colorado and we wrote letters alot when I was growing up, he died of cancer years ago and I still have all those letters saved upstairs. My two cousins, my brother, and I used to take a trip with my Grandparents each summer and one summer he asked that we come out to visit him and his family so we could see each other again before he died. The only downside to that trip was the car sickness after going on the pigtail bridges in South Dakota on our way to see Mount Rushmore!

Do you want everyone to send this back to you? Why not if you want to do it! It's kind of cool the memories some of these questions have brought me back to thinking about that I haven't thought about in a LONG time!

What color pants and shoes are you wearing? Holli you are going to love this one! Blue jeans and light pink slippers with dark pink hearts all over them! Hehe if you look close you can actually see them in some of my quilting pics!

Last think you ate? That would be a Take Five(I think that's what it's called) candy bar. It wasn't that great.

What are you listening to right now? The sound of the keys on the keyboard and Miss A snoring because she is so congested from her cold.

If you were a crayon what color would you be? A nice medium blue or purple would be nice.

Favorite smells? Fresh cut grass, clean laundry, cookies baking in the oven, clean baby smell, lilacs.

Who was the last person you talked to on the phone? Our pastor unless you count answering machines lol!

The first thing you notice about people you are attracted to? Their smile and laugh.

Do you like the preson you stole this from? Yep yep!

Favorite Drink? Mt Dew! Although I can not drink it after 4 pm or I will be wide awake for the longest time at night!

Favorite sport? ok hard to pick, football, basketball, baseball I like to go watch people I know play all of those, but I guess if I have to choose one I would choose baseball since I recently got to go and watch the Twins play in person!

Eye color? Blue

Hat size? Umm no clue!

Do you wear contacts? No, if I ever do need glasses or contacts I think it will have to be glasses because I have a terrible time just giving myself my artificial tear eyedrops I hate watching something as it comes right toward your eyeball! I can NEVER keep my eyes open!

Favorite food? Spaghetti! Pasta! K hates it so I only get it when we go out to eat or when I get brave and decide to feed the kiddos spaghetti!

Scary movies or happy endings? Happy endings! I just can not sit and watch a scary movie! In jr high I went with some friends and saw the first Chuckie movie and my friends and I had to toss all our dolls in the hallway! Not to mention the fact that my brother had one of those my buddy dolls that looked quite similar to Chuckie!

What color shirt are you wearing? Neon green I guess you would call it. It's from our VBS this year it has three little frogs and it says Camp Turned Around Life-changing fun! Our theme was like a sleepaway type camp with counselors and a "campfire" in the middle of the auditorium where the kids sat and listened to the openings and closings as well as the missionary story.

Summer or winter? SUMMER

Hugs or kisses? Hugs, I say that now because almost every single daycare child has a cold and I really do not relish those little green noses coming at me!

Favorite dessert? Anything chocolate

What book are you reading? Right now the only book I am really reading is a devotional book called 31 Days of Praise, other than my Bible itself that is.

What is on your mousepad? Don't have one I have an optical mouse

What did you watch last night on TV? The girl's moma at Mix'd Equally will love this one! A Scrubs rerun just before I went to bed!

Favorite sounds? Kids laughing!

Rolling Stones or the Beatles? Beatles

What's you special talent? I don't think I have one really...I dunno maybe I tend to pick up on things quickly and can learn quickly is that a special talent?

Newest thing you've tried? Quilting

One thing you would change about yourself? To not be so emotional and not take things so personally

Who did you last send a card or letter to? One of my daycare mothers to thank her for bringing us lunch of Pizza Hut pizza (pepperoni), dessert breadsticks, and Sierra Mist

Where would you like to visit if money were no object? To a coast to see an ocean. I don't care which one really, I would just like to be able to say I have seen the ocean!

Well Holli there ya go! Like I said just don't laugh too hard at my answers!

My quilting supplies waiting for BT to come and help me, tonight unless the weather gets bad. Lots of sparkles and my favorite colors. I can't wait to see it finished!

Monster playing in the toy room

Even the dolls and stuffed animals are spoiled here!

My messy desk! Actually this is pretty clean! We have my knitting that I pick up and try to do a row whenever I have a quiet moment, the powerpoint notes, song lyrics for one chorus, and bulletin for Sunday, my Bible, notebook, and one of my devotion books 31 Days of Priase. I haven't started reading it yet....the plan is to start today. And you can see all the daycare paperwork stored in those binders and my collection of pens and pencils, don't ask me why we just seem to have a ton! The blue bag at the bottom right is the bag I take on road trips, practice when I'm not singing, whatever that holds my necessities like knitting and cross stitch as well as a book to read, pens, pencils, mp3 player, zip drive, ibuprofen, all sorts of fun stuff!

the view outside my house today. the deck and patio table, the neighbor's car, and a look out the front door. I'm not complaining though, north of us they already have at least two inches and are delaying/cancelling schools and activities!

the scarf I am currently working on, it is to go with my every day winter coat. I really liked this yarn, it is so soft and it has all the colors mixed in and the little bit of sparkle in the gold! All of those colors are in the logo of the company that K works for that is on my every day coat. It was perfect! Not to mention that it was only a dollar a skein!
