I see that the special is still on...go to this site and get your 8x10 canvas of one of your pictures!

I got one of my Precious Moments in the mail today...and I'm still shopping for more! Ebay is alot of fun!
Not sure what our big plans are for the evening...maybe just finding a movie on demand and popping some popcorn.
K got home an hour earlier than we thought he would but I haven't seen much of him...he's been trying to get the laptop to connect to the wireless router. No luck so far.
Yup pretty boring around here....hope 2010 is a great year for you all filled with many blessings!

I almost forgot!!! I believe this offer runs through Thursday, but if you go to this site you can get a free 8x10 canvas made from one of your pictures! I sent for mine tonight! I have heard from a few people that it's really good quality and I can't wait to see mine!
Today was a good day. I finally caught up with the laundry and went out to lunch and ran some errands with a friend. I haven't gotten as many pictures edited as I would like, but I still have tomorrow and Friday and the weekend.
I also won three of the Precious Moments figurines that I was bidding on...most people gave me money/gift certificates for Christmas so I have had some fun shopping.
Hopefully I will have some more pictures of Christmas to share with you tomorrow. I've almost finished editing the pictures of the play that we had at church.
Well, I think the electric blanket is calling my name upstairs...time to curl up with a good book :)

I know I know you've heard it before, but I'm here to say it again, I know I've been terrible at posting....but here I am again.
Christmas was kind of hard this year, and I don't mean this to be a woe is me kind of post because I know that I have a very blessed life...but I was in a sort of a funk and the visit from the inlaws sure didn't help. I have no idea what I did, but I just have to say that I am so tired of feeling like I don't matter and I'm really not important.....
I have this week off work. I've been doing some laundry and catching up on some emails and cards that need to be made and of course editing pictures!
I've been thinking alot of what I want to change in the new year and I've come up with a few things. 1. Take a picture everyday...I joined a Project 365 group on flickr. 2. Read my Bible every day. I'm not going to say a chapter, or so many verses, just to be reading and in God's Word every day. 3. To post more regularly here. I have gotten to know a few of you better this year and I have enjoyed keeping up with you on your blogs...and it really does help for me to come here and just write things out sometimes. I don't think I should say that these are New Year's Resolutions...I never seem to follow through with them....but New Year's Goals maybe. Anyway....hope you all had a very Merry Christmas and that the New Year brings you many blessings!

Can I go back to bed yet?! Please!

Ugh I really want to go to bed and pull the covers over my head! Yesterday I got a call from the bank asking if we had spent 700 dollars at the Microsoft Store. Ummm NO! Then there were four charges from ITunes which I did not make. I have in the past, but not for at least six months or so. I asked them if the charges were going through, no because they had put a block on our card. Great no problem, they would issue us new debit cards and numbers. Then about twenty minutes or so later I get a call saying umm yes it is going through you need to call this number and ask them how they got your information and tell them they need to stop the transaction today. So K calls the Microsoft Store and they tell him no we can't stop that transaction it's already in progress. Joy. So he has to go to the bank this afternoon and fill out papers and all sorts of "fun" things. The Microsoft Store did give him the name and address of the joker that used our information and what he bought. So evidetnly we just bought a 32 inch plasma tv for some joker in New York. Yay. As if Christmas wasn't tight enough money wise.
And we had to deal with all this a half hour before the bank closed and we had to pick up PM and C to go to a basketball game in CC. Sooo hopefully K can get it all sorted out at the bank and Mr Joker can't get anymore money out of our account.
Awana Christmas store is tonight!! We're actually trying to fit two nights into one sort of. We will have Christmas store and backwards night as well as our birthday party for Jesus and hand out the clubbers Christmas gifts. The only thing we won't be doing is going caroling to the nursing homes/some of the elderly of our congregation. A group of us from church thought about doing that since the Awana kids aren't able to go. We'll see time wise and weather wise!
I have been busy making up the clubbers gifts...we filled 80 Christmas cups with candy and small flaslights with our Awana logo on them, put them in bags, tied them with ribbon, printed 80 star gift tags with "Merry Christmas from your Awana Leader" on them, cut them out, punched a hole, and tied them with more ribbon and curled the ribbon. It was like an assembly line in our dining room! It really helped to have yesterday off so I could just focus on those. I also got some typing done for our Pastor and now I just have to catch up on some card making, laundry, and a few emails for church.
Well...I better get to it or I won't get it done since I have to be at church a bit early to finish up some things for the Christmas store tonight yet too. Hope you all have a better day than I've had haha!

Pictures!!!

A few more pictures to share with you today. The first is the measurement K got after our big snowstorm on Wednesday. We got 14 inches of snow in 24 hours! We also had 40 mph winds creating blizzard conditions. The kids didn't have school on Thursday but were back to a regular schedule on Friday. I kept thinking it was Friday on Thursday and Friday felt like a Monday...I've been so confused!!
I have had alot of time to take and edit pictures though!! The second picture is of our Christmas tree. I had alot of fun pulling out the star filter for my camera and snapping away Tuesday night during the worst of the storm! The third is of one of the Christmas trees at church I took Wednesday night. It was really beautiful how the snow had piled in the windows but the original pictures I took just didn't look right. I started playing in Photoshop and I liked the black and white look and K asked me if I could leave the ornament in color. I didn't like the original color so I played a bit and found the red. I have another burgundy color as well, but I still don't like it as much as this one. I put alot more on my flickr page if you want to go and check them out...there is a badge over on the side of my blog for you to go and see them if you like.
Thursday even though there was no school there was a basketball game. After the kiddos left we went and picked up PM and C and headed off on the hour drive. We agreed to drive in case the roads weren't so good and we have 4 wheel drive. The boys lost both games but we had fun.
Last night we just hung around the house and I was editing pictures again. We took a quick trip to church to work on a song I had to type into the computer for communion on Sunday. We went to bed around midnight and I was up about 7:30 working on PowerPoint this morning.
Madrigal is tonight...time for more pictures yay! Usually C and I go by ourselves...but since J is a senior this year K and PM are going with. PM's brother was supposed to come in from Milwaukee to go along with us, but he went to the hospital yesterday with chest pains. Drs said it was not a heart attack, but they are still doing some testing. Praying that he is ok. I have just recently been getting to know him and he has been my mentor in photography.
I'm excited but nervous about the next few weeks...C and I are planning our baking and I really enjoy that but I have not finished my shopping and of course Christmas brings K's family up from Missouri and more stress for me. I'm really trying and praying hard but I do internalize things and I will apologize in advance if I come here and complain about it all while they are here.
Hope you all have a great weekend!!

Snow!!!

We now have about 14 inches of snow. Joy. Sense any sarcasm there??? It wouldn't be so bad, but it came all at once. The kids got out of school early on Tuesday. They announced a 12:30 dismissal right at 8am. No school today due to more snow and blizzard conditions and at 4 this afternoon they announced no school for tomorrow. No travel is advised through most of the state.
I only had one daycare family today. Mom works at a hospital an hour away and Dad works for the cable company. They had him driving his route for part of the day today...people desperate for cable???!!! He came home about three hours early because they were told that the snowplows were being pulled from the roads in our county and the neighboring county.
We had to make a stop at the post office and checked our church's parking lot (no Awana tonight but we may do some recording for our Pastor's radio messages and we were checking it out to see if we needed to bring our snow blower to make a path to the front door) and I got a few pictures. I've been working on editing a bunch since I've been snowed in the last couple days and hopefully I will get to those as well as some of our indoor Christmas lights and playing with my star filters and share those soon!
The basketball game that was supposed to be last night was rescheduled for tomorrow night...we'll see if that happens. There is another ball game Friday night and Madrigal is Saturday night. I still have my normal typing to do for the week too, a slow start to the week could mean a busy busy end!
Hope you all are having a great day and are dry and warm!

Saturday, December 05, 2009

Ok so I did something really stupid yesterday....or should I say today. I stayed up working until 2:30 this morning!! Then I had to get up about seven to get my shower and head out to church to decorate for Christmas! I was SO tired!! I thought we were going to go over PowerPoint then too, but PM had a change of plans so I got to go out for lunch with a great group of ladies and then I came home and slept for two hours while K was finishing up with the Christmas lights!! I rarely take naps, and especially not for two hours! He came up and checked on me a couple of times, I think he was a bit worried haha!
After the nap and some supper I finally got rid of the nagging headache that I had as well.
We finished putting some lights up in the house and put some laundry away and we've just been listening to some Christmas music and watching the fireplace dvd K bought on one of our Wal Mart trips with the lights out. It's been a good day.
Oh, I almost forgot, if you like Mercy Me go check out their blog for a little Christmas gift!

Excitement!

I sat down and started to write this about five times now and something always happens and I don't even get three words typed!!!
It's been a busy couple of days. Wednesday night was crazy hair night at Awana and the kids did GREAT!! We even had one who shaved parts of his head...he said he was going to shave it all off anyway so this was the perfect opportunity to do something fun!
Last night we went to M's Holiday Music Concert at the High School. We were all very happy with the songs that the choir director had chosen, not a single mention of Santa Claus...it was all about the real meaning of Christmas! K and I graduated with the choir director and I recently found her on facebook so I left her a little note complimenting her on her music choices.
Tonight was the second basketball game of the season....the JV boys lost. They started out great, ahead by ten or so, but they just couldn't hold it. They are a young team and the team we played is really agressive and to be honest, I know everyone complains about them, but the refs really didn't help either side...they were a little odd. We called one the happy friendly ref...he seemed to like to pull players aside and chat with them and smack them on the bum when they were done talking. One really didn't make too many calls at all, he just seemed to like to stand in front of us making it a bit difficult to see the game. The other one was really picky about some stupid little fouls while some of the bigger more obvious things like one of their players shoving one of ours down to the floor went unnoticed.....they were ahead by 10 or 15 and the Varsity pulled even with them and with a last second buzzer beater basket WE WON!!!!! What a game!!! Unfortunately J was hurt during the game, sounds like he may have rolled the ankle that he sprained earlier. I believe that they were going to take him in for x-rays just to be safe.
In other news I have found two new things that have made me happy lately....one is Christmas music. I wrote in an earlier post about how much I LOVE Christmas music...music in general really and that I love finding new music. Well, Amazon has a special, 25 free Christmas songs, one each day from the 1st of December up until the 25th. Check it out! I say this with the disclaimer that I don't know what they will choose I have already deleted one that I refuse to have on a cd of Christmas music (Slower Than Christmas- by The Boxmasters) but hopefully they will make some better choices.
The other is Swaptree. A friend emailed me the site and I have already initiated my first trade. I can get rid of a dvd that K and I really didn't like so much and get a cd that I will love! It's a win/win situation!
Hopefully this has all made sense...it's almost one am and I should be in bed because I have to get up fairly early tomorrow, make that this morning. The men are meeting to have a men's breakfast at church and while they are doing that the ladies are getting together to decorate the auditorium for Christmas and after that we are going to go over PowerPoint, but I just can't seem to relax and get ready to head to bed!! That game has me all energized and ready to go haha! I have a little typing to do for the radio message PM did for this week and hopefully after I get that done I will be ready for dreamland.
Hope you have a great day!

Basketball, movies, and Awana

The boys basketball season started last night. It was a bit of a process but we finally got to the game (it was about an hour drive to get there). We rode with L, Mr. T, Tater, and their Dad...Tater had no nap yesterday and he stayed awake for the whole drive, the whole game, and the whole drive back! The only time he got mad is when we got into town and Dad turned his movie off!
The boys won both the JV and Varsity games, although neither were the prettiest of games. We have a young varsity team, only one senior and he is the only one who has seen any varsity play. They just need to get used to playing as a team and get used to the plays.
Today the movie theater is playing a free movie for the kids. It's Polar Express. It works out nicely since the kids get out of school three hours early. Mom just picked up Mr. T and Tater, R should be picked up by his aunt soon, and that leaves me with Miss A. I think I may take her, especially after hearing that her two brothers are going with her big sister.
Tonight is crazy hair night at Awana...the kids will be learning about Samson. K is giving the lesson for the 3-6th graders. K and I both have wigs we bought around Halloween to wear and we are taking one for our Commander to wear. Should be lots of fun looks from the kids too!

Edited....R's Aunt came to get him and take him to the movie and by that time Miss A had already fallen asleep. Soooo no movie for us, maybe I'll get a nap with her instead. Haha!

December 1st!

Here I am again!! How is the first of December treating everyone? Tater and Mr T are here this morning and they are contentedly watching Diego. Just tried to turn it off and Tater got upset telling me that Iego not ova! I love those boys!
I entered a GREAT Christmas giveaway on We Are THAT Family's blog...go check it out!!! I know you will love it as much as I do!!!
Speaking of Christmas, Little C, Slow Mo, and Miss A got soooo excited when K plugged the outside Christmas lights in last night! They watched them blink and change colors for the longest time! I love watching the excitement of Christmas in the kiddos eyes! Too bad they will be moving about Christmas time. Miss A thinks it's so cool that they even get to take the Christmas tree with them!!!
Well, Tater is upset with me because I'm not getting him juice fast enough so I guess that's my cue to close for now.
Hope you all have a great day!

So close, but not giving up!

Well, it's the end of the month. So close to posting the whole month, just missed one day. I hope to keep it up maybe not every day but at least every other. I have enjoyed getting back to blogging again.
The basketball season starts tomorrow and I found out I'm not working as late as I thought I was so we should have no problem getting to the game on time!
K went back to work today after having all of last week off, and I got caught up on my mountain of laundry! I also got caught up with cards I needed to make and get mailed out. Now if I could just get the maid to come and finish the laundry for me things would be great haha! Since that's not likely to happen at all I guess I'll have to finish it tomorrow.
Goodnight all! Talk to you tomorrow!!! Happy December!

Tired!

Well, it's back to work again tomorrow. I just wish it wasn't at six fifteen! We didn't do a whole lot today, I had some typing to do for a handout for the evening service tonight and I almost got a nap...until the phone rang anyway. It was PM with a question but I just couldn't go back to sleep after that.
Still no resolution to my computer picture problem, K told me that we have a thirty day warantee with the store we bought it from, maybe they can help us get it going again.
Hope you all enjoyed your Sunday and that you have a good day tomorrow!!

Basketball scrimmage picture fun

We still haven't solved the computer issue, K has been doing lots of reading, he says it may be something to do with how they cleaned the registry at the store we bought the computer from. Hopefully we can get it resolved soon!
We went to the boys basketball scrimmage with two other schools this morning. We weren't sure what time it started, neither of the boys seemed to know, but we only missed one game. Not so bad. I got lots of pictures...none of J, he sprained his ankle in the first game, but I got pics of him during meet the team night and hopefully I can get some more at his game next week. I got alot of Big C, some of S from one of the other teams who also goes to our church, and D, whose younger brother is in Minneapolis in treatment for lukemia (he's 11). Sounds like he is doing very well, their Mom was there to watch D play. Hopefully I can get the pics edited and sent off to her early next week!
K is out golfing with PM now, I have gotten the evening service PowerPoint done and am getting ready to start typing the radio message from Friday. PM has to get the morning service notes to me yet so I can get the PowerPoint typed up for that and then we'll have to meet to go over them. Hopefully I can get to bed early tonight...the last few nights it's been pretty late with K on vacation and me finally having a couple days off!
I'm kind of sad to see the month coming to an end...I have enjoyed writing more. Hopefully I can continue...as long as I don't bore you all to death haha! If I slack off again you have permission to email and scold me haha!
Hope you all have a great weekend!

Computer frustration!

We had a pretty good day today...K got up early to go to Radio Shack to find the cds we wanted only to find that they didn't open for another half hour early! He came back home and this time I got up with him and we found the cds...but there was a hassle because the girl didn't know what the sale was supposed to be and it didn't ring up right in the computer. She wasn't too happy.
We got to Ace at 7 and there was a crowd around the door but K found everything he wanted. He got AAA batteries instead of the AA's that they had on sale and he had to take them back but it wasn't too bad. Everyone was lined up at the front of the store and just a few of us went to the register in the back so we were in and out and in and out again before some of the people were in and out the first time.
We worked on some Christmas lights outside and went to the local Christmas parade. We met C, Mrs. A, L, T, and Tater there and laughed as Tater stuffed the candy that was thrown into his pockets until they wouldn't hold anymore!
Then tonight I went to download some pictures to my computer from one of my memory cards and found that the Scanner and Camera wizard isn't working...my card reader shows up but it won't put the pictures into a folder on my computer. Grr. I did some reading trying to figure it out but just got frustrated. K's looking now, hopefully he can find something. If he can I will have some pictures of the lights on the front of the house and maybe a few others to share.

Happy Thanksgiving...Black Friday shopping!

Happy Thanksgiving!! We had a GREAT day with lots of food and friends!! Getting ready to head to bed now to get ready to find some good deals in the morning at some of the local stores. This is the first time in quite a few years that we won't be making the drive to a neighboring town to Wal Mart...but they just didn't wow us with any good deals that we just couldn't live without. Sounds like K has quite a list for the local Ace Hardware store though! I'm not complaining...I'll get to sleep in a bit longer!

Happy Thanksgiving!

I really shouldn't leave writing here until the last thing at night. I get so tired I just want to hurry and get it done and don't know what to say.
Nothing too exciting going on around here. Miss A came and she was bright eyed at very chatty all day and she left around 2. After that K and I have just lounged around and complained about how bored we are! We ordered a pizza for supper and had some of the peanut butter pie Miss A's Mom dropped off for us.
I tried to do some online Christmas shopping for K's Mom, but haven't found anything I'm real crazy about. She is just so hard to shop for.
Well, it's time I head off and make my salad for tomorrow and head to bed!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Pretty good day!

Today ended up being a short day of work...I got to sleep in a bit and found out I get to sleep in tomorrow too! Gotta love that!
I went for piano lessons after running some errands and that turned into more of working on the song I am going to sing for special music. B, who is my piano teacher is also playing the piano for me for this song.
When I got home we went out to Teluwut...a newer restaurant in town. K had what they call the Big Mouth Vinnie Burger and I had their Chicken Parmesean. It was so good! I have half of it left, which I will have for lunch tomorrow!
I think I'm going to call it a night and do a little reading in bed and maybe get up a bit earlier and do some house cleaning....maybe not haha!

So close!

I was doing so good, and then I forgot to post yesterday!! So close! I did have two posts one day...does that count lol!
I didn't get to go to the soy candle shop...K didn't get home until 4/4:15 and then we went to meet PM to go over his PowerPoint. We got to talking and then we all headed out to Wal Mart to do a little shopping. I remembered to get my pie for the Pie Fellowship at church and picked up a few more as long as we're here....items. Had alot of fun and laughs with PM and K. It was a great night!
We stopped at my Mom and Dad's and visited with them for a bit after we got back into town and I worked on a couple projects after we got home and I didn't go to bed until 1 am! Choir sang for special music in the morning and evening Praise and Thanksgiving services...we (the soprano group) liked this song especially because we didn't end on a really high note! The last few times we sang we seem to end on a high note that alot of us really seem to have to streatch to reach! Next week we start practicing for Christmas!
We went to have lunch with my Mom and went to the new consignment shop on main street that was having an open house. I picked up a few tops and K found a shirt. Mom looked but didn't find anything she couldn't live with out.
We had to be back at church at 4:30 for K to be at the Christmas program practice...he plays the Dad :) and I have to admit that we are really praying that this goes well!
K is home for the week and this morning was my one early early morning...6:15...and the kiddos are playing nicely together watching Little Einsteins.
Sounds like I will be done early this afternoon and then we are headed to a basketball game in the evening! Sounds like a good day to me!!! Hope you all have a great day as well!

Have I bored you yet?

Are you tired of me posting about my boring life every day yet???

K is off helping change the oil and put new front brakes in C's car. C is sick so K won't be able to show him how to do it like he hoped, but with cars there will always be a next time.

While he's been gone I've been sitting here playing on facebook and editing some pictures. I really need to order PM and C's Christmas gifts online today just to make sure we have plenty of time for shipping and everything.

If K gets back with enough time before we have to go over PowerPoint with PM I would love to go to the soy candle factory/outlet store in a neighboring town. I have all my must have done items finished, except for buying a pie for tomorrow night and I have been wanting to go there for a long time now and I need another candle for the house and thinking about some for Christmas gifts. Don't know if that will happen though, we'll see what time he gets home and what he wants to do with the rest of the afternoon.

And yet another quiet day!

Today was just like the last few days really...nothing real new or exciting to tell you.
We went to meet the team night for basketball and wrestling tonight and I got some pictures of J out on the court. J is the only senior on the varsity team this year. They are a young team and need some work, but it looks like they will play well together. I'm excited to see them play!
Tomorrow K has some work to do on C's car and I have to get a pie for the pie fellowship after our Prayer and Thanksgiving service on Sunday and that's it other than my normal house cleaning and maybe some laundry! Should be nice relaxing day!

Blah day

I am so excited...my photo program came in the mail today!!! I have been editing pictures ever since I got it installed this afternoon!!!
My plans for the day kept changing, I wanted to go to Wal Mart early this morning but school had a two hour late start so I had R at 7 am instead of 1 pm....that left me not working until 3:30 pm when I got a call asking if I could take Tater for a couple hours and later cancelling that and rescheduling for tomorrow. Little C, Slow Mo, and Miss A left a half hour later than normal and the practice that was scheduled for 8:30 tonight for a small group of musicians for our Praise and Thanksgiving Service Sunday night was tentatively rescheduled for Saturday morning and then cancelled. Confused yet? I am!
I didn't get much accomplished today...hopefully tomorrow I can get more done. Just so tired today and feeling blah.

Wednesday, November 18, 2009

And another quiet day

Not much going on around here today. Another early morning with Miss A. I am not looking forward to their move, but I will be SO glad when these early mornings are done! I won't complain about my 7 am Wednesdays anymore!!!

K wanted me to make chili for supper tonight. I went to get the hamburger and there was non in the freezer. That stinks...I was looking forward to chili and cinnamon rolls tonight! Oh well, maybe tomorrow!

Awana's theme tonight is Joshua and we are supposed to wear camoflauge and write a letter to someone serving in the military thanking them for their service. Can't wait to see that!

Well, I'm off to bake some cookies with the kiddos. Hope everyone has a great day!

Tuesday, November 17, 2009

Another quiet day

I got to sleep in today, Tater and Mr T didn't come until 9:30! I sooo needed that!!! I even got to run out and get my cappucino!
Tater still isn't feeling the best he's pretty quiet and kind of pale looking. He's had a bit of diahrreah, thankfully he's potty trained and makes that issue a bit easier! It hasn't been too bad, but you can just tell he doesn't feel very good. Hopefully a nap helps some.
The boys are both just hanging out and watching some tv. Normally I wouldn't let them, but I think they both need a nice quiet day. Mr. T is going to school this afternoon so a little rest this morning won't hurt.
I made up a facebook site for our Awana club this morning too. We send home calendars with the themes for each week, but you know little kids and how often those things actually get home. Some of us were talking on our Ladie's Day Away on Saturday and said why not set up a central site, and maybe this will give us another line of communication with the familes. We'll see how it goes!

Monday Monday

I'm back again! Hopefully my posts from this weekend made sense, I was so tired while I was writing them...this weekend was so busy and I was exhausted by the end of the day!
Today I'm downloading some of the last few programs I need on the new computer. I really like this! It is so fast and the power button works!!
Tater and Mr. T are home sick today. They were running temps yesterday and just not feeling well. So now I only have Miss A for most of the day...will get R for the afternoon and Little C and Slow Mo after school. I planned on doing some laundry but I got one load done and I am out of detergent. Miss A doesn't have any shoes or a coat this morning...Mom brings her wrapped up in a blanket in her pjs since she comes so early. So no trip uptown for us to buy some either. Maybe K will grab some for me when he gets home.
I had such a great time working on my cards on Saturday that I am really thinking about working on some more while the kiddos are napping this afternoon, but taking a nap myself sounds really good too!!!
Well, not much else going on around here, pretty quiet. Hope you all are having a great day!

Wizard Weekend

I finally got Microsoft Office 2007 up and running on my computer and K found a good deal on my Photoshop program on ebay so hopefully by the end of the week or so I will have everything I need added onto the new computer.
K and I came home after church tonight and as I was flipping through the channels Ifound the Wizard of Oz! Too funny after just seeing the play at the high school! We've been watching and I keep telling him which of the kids we know were playing each part in the play!
Well,6:15 is going to come awfully early so I'm headed off to bed! Hope you all had a great day!

Saturday, November 14, 2009

Busy day!

We didn't go to the play last night we were able to get tickets to see Monroe Crossing a bluegrass group and they were so good! K bought their Christmas cd. We had seen them last year, and it says alot that K was willing to go again last night! Normally if he's seen something once, he's good he doesn't want to go again!

Today was our Ladie's Day Away at church. We all get together and do our crafts and talk and this year some of the ladies went and toured our friend's new quilt shop. I got some cards made. I made three different cards and made two of each one.

We met with PM early to go over his PowerPoint and then C and I went to see the Wizard of Oz. It was great! The kids really sounded like their parts from the movie and they had some of the younger kids as munchkins! It was very good!!

Well, I'm going to do a little more work on the PowerPoint and go to bed. I was up until 2 this morning loading the programs I need and my favorites onto the "new" (refurbished) computer that K got a good deal on and suprised me with yesterday and I'm tired!!!

Friday!!!!!

I took this picture on the way home from a friend's "Surprise" 30th Birthday party. I say "Surprise" because both her Mom and her husband gave it away and she knew in the end but it was a good time! These friends live in a neighboring town and they have alot of the wind turbines to generate electricity to send to other states. K laughs every time we make this drive because for a bit it looks like you are going to drive right into it until the road curves.
Not alot going on today. Miss A came at 6:15 and R from next door will get off the bus at about noon. They'll both be gone by 1/1:30 and the I have to take the canned goods from Awana to the food pantry. We tried to take it over yesterday but the doors were locked.
The high school play is this weekend. I think we may go tonight; Saturday is the Ladies' Day Away at church where we all get together and do our crafting whether it be knitting, quilting, cross stitch, card making, scrapbooking, etc....and have a soup and salad lunch, and we will have to get together with PM to go over PowerPoint, and Sunday is busy enough I don't want to wait and then have something come up and not be able to go. If I get the chance I may go Sunday afternoon again, but I don't want to miss it! They are doing the Wizard of Oz this year.

Wow, a day off!

I got up early and got my shower quickly to make sure I would have enough time to run out and get my cappucino from Kwik Star before the kids came...any size is 99 cents right now...can't resist that deal! I was all ready to go with plenty of time get right in and right out and do my morning routine for getting ready for the kids in the morning and no kids....their Mom sends me a text saying she didn't have to work last night so no boys today! I got some laundry done and a few other things around the house figuring I would catch up before the other kids came after school and as I'm checking my email the phone rings and their Mom says that the teacher for one of her classes was gone and she got to come home early so I won't have her kids either! It was a bus stop day with the little neighbor guy so I get the WHOLE DAY off today!! I've finished all the things I hoped to so far and I've put on some Trans-Siberian Orchestra music and I'm getting ready to do a little reading until K comes home.

Our miniature poodle has an appointment at the groomers this afternoon and we have the canned goods that the kids brought to Awana last night to take to the food bank. It sounds like we will be recording our Pastor's radio message for the week at some point tonight too so I am glad to have some of the housework done!

It will be a 6:15 day tomorrow, but I will be done working about 1/1:30...can't complain about that!

Hope you all are enjoying your day!

A bit of reflection and Happy Veteran's Day!

First I have to say thanks to Rebecca Jo for the comment on my last post and the advice. I think I'm going to do that after I give her a day or two to post a picture...just to make sure it's not an oversight.....

Yesterday as I was just getting home from piano lessons I got a call telling us that the Pastor of a local church was killed in a car accident in the afternoon. We had just seen him recently and were shocked to hear the news! I have been posting one thing I am thankful for each day in November on my facebook and with Veteran's Day today it made me sit down and reflect even more how thankful I am for what I have and where I live and those I love that I have in my life....we just never know and I am thankful for you all!

Happy Veteran's Day! A special thank you to G, J, K, N, D, J, R, and C....thank you for all you do and for serving our country!

A vent and some cute things from the kiddos

I've really tried to stay positive on my blog, I mean we all have our own problems, who wants to come and read about someone elses and get more depressed? But today something happened that I'm just having trouble letting go of. Ever since they moved away my MIL and I have had a strained relationship. At one point I thought that we had things straightened out, but lately things have been flaring up again. I'm honestly ok with the thought that not everyone is going to like me or get along with me...I don't like it and especially the thought that it's family and such close family, but it's going to happen. I just try to vent it out and get over it and move on but today it hurts just a bit more.
My MIL just got facebook and I cringed when I saw that she had added me as a friend just because of our relationship and facebook has been one of my fun get away type places where I can interact with my friends....but I added her. I went to look at her facebook page today and she has pictures of the oldest son and his wife and two kids, she has pictures of the the middle son and his wife, she has pictures of the only daughter and her boyfriend, and she has pictures of the youngest son and his girlfriend. Notice anything missing? Yep no pictures of my hubby. Even if she didn't want to post a picture of me I can deal, but to not post his picture and leave a note of how proud she is of him like she did the rest honestly brings me to tears.
She can do what she wants to me, but when she starts to slight him it really really bothers me. I keep thinking give her time she'll post one, but she keeps posting more and more of the others, but none of K.
Maybe I'm making too much of it and I'm hoping by writing it all out here I can just vent it out and not be so "emotional". I won't even mention it to K...he doesn't even get on his facebook page enough to notice and why bring it to his attention.
Ugh!!!!!!!!

Ok I can't leave such a moody post and not focus on something positive....how about some cute things I've heard from the kids over the last couple of weeks?!?!

What's a meeting shower? Miss A after we talked a bit about stars...wondering about a meteor shower!
You my best fwiend! Tater to me while sitting on the potty!
Some people are poor and don't have a microwave....that's why other people should share their houses! Mr. T....I don't know where that came from!
Spooky!!! Tater's new favorite word!

Well, I'm off to do some reading while Tater is napping. Hope you all are well!

Productive morning!

It's another 6:15 morning. I have to admit that I am much more productive on these days, but I still really miss my sleep!!!

I've gotten about half of my laundry done and the craft ready for the kids for the day. Hopefully this trend continues as I do have a few more things I would like to accomplish today!

I am finally starting to feel better after my allergy issues over the weekend! The hike on the trails in one of the parks that K and I went on sent my allergies into major overload. I hadn't been taking any allergy medicine for about two weeks, but it looks like I'll be taking it again for a while now!

I do have some pictures of the path we went out on our walk on, but I still have to do some editing in Photoshop. I'll post them soon, I really like how some of them turned out!

Not getting anything done!

I really feel like I haven't accomplished a whole lot today. I woke up very congested due to my allergies...the walk in the woods at one of the parks we went to on Friday did me in. I haven't taken any allergy medicine for two weeks or so but it looks like I'll be starting to take it again!
I took some more pictures of our Pastor and his wife to possibly be used on the church's website today. I did get them edited for him to look over, but that has been the most productive part of my day!
Hope you all are enjoying a nice relaxing Sunday!

Lazy day!

Not much going on around here today. K and I are just working on some projects around the house. We replaced the screen door in the front door with the glass...not such an easy thing to do considering you have to take the whole frame apart to get the screen out and the glass in! Nice to have it done though!
K also hung the metal star we got on our snowy trip up to Minnesota shopping a couple weeks ago. I thought about hanging it on the front of the house, but he wanted it on the garage and after seeing it in both places he won. I'll try to remember to get a picture of that too.
Otherwise the plan for the rest of the day is for me to finish PowerPoint for our church services tomorrow and meet with PM later this evening to go over them and maybe pull some Christmas lights out to hang up so we're not doing it when it's freezing outside! Of course I have been given strict instructions not to plug them in for a bit yet! No fun lol!

Two in one day...deer/dear!

Went on a date night tonight and on the way home I saw three deer of the four legged variety that K did not see...if he had reached his hand out the window he could have touched them they were so close! Thankfully they stood still and let us pass but as we were driving by I was patting his arm and saying Deer! as he is looking over at me asking "What?" He thought I was starting a conversation with Dear!" Must find a new way to alert him of the four legged variety!!!

Six days...so far so good!

I hope I'm not totally boring you with my pictures, but honestly this has been one of the main parts of my life lately...and some don't get shown or printed, so why not share them here, right?!?
These pictures are of my friend's new quilt shop she opened in town. Her opening day was October 26th and I took these pictures to put up on her facebook page.
We went to Wal Mart after the kids left last night and I was finally able to get a hair cut! The lady I had doing my hair had to have surgery and I'm not sure if she is going to go back to work or not...so I had my hair cut in the little shop just inside our Wal Mart so I can do something with the bangs. I'm trying to grow it out, but have to be able to do something with the bangs!
We found some fun things like big gummy spiders and bats for 10 cents a piece and chocolate carmel candy corn and apple cider candy corn. Yum!
I also finally sent the picture that I am going to have enlarged to PM's brother...I decided on the yellow lily with the birch tree in the background. We found a frame for it at Wal Mart last night too! I am so excited to see it!!
No school for the kids today...Miss A, Little C, and Slow Mo came at 6:15 and R came at 7 but on the bright side they will all be gone by 1:00/1:30. Nice start to the weekend if you ask me!

A new favorite

I found a new favorite a couple weeks ago! I wasn't so sure that I would like it, but the adventerous side of me just had to give them a try....what is it? Chocolate covered sunflower seeds! YUM! Well, if you get the right brand anyway. We were looking for a Pastor appreciation gift when we found the first package and they were so good! The second package (pictured here) the seeds almost tasted like they were burnt and no amount of chocolate was going to fix that. I had alot of fun taking pictures with them anyway!!

Proof that I am crazy!

This was our view on the way home from shopping in Minnesota on Friday, October 23! We couldn't believe it! It is hard to tell because these were taken with my cell phone and it was a darker day but it was snowing! Snowing hard enough that we were driving 35-40 mph on the highway on the drive home instead of the 55-60 mph we would normally drive! I don't know exactly how much they got, but it was accumulating quite a bit, at least three inches I would guess. Two of my brother in laws live in this area and they said that once it stopped it melted very quickly, but it changed our plans to get together with one for lunch and we headed home a couple hours ahead of what we planned to make sure we made it in time for things we had planned that evening!
I'm not really sure, but this may be the reason why I am starting to get into the Christmas spirit too! I've started looking for some Christmas music, I have been listening to two cds the last couple days; Christmas Offerings by Third Day and Peace on Earth by Casting Crowns and I am excited about pulling out cds like Wintersong by Sarah McLachlan, The Christmas Sessions by Mercy Me, A Charlie Brown Christmas, A Christmas Collection by Avalon, Christmas by Rebecca St. James, and Christmas Eve & Other Stories, The Lost Christmas Eve, and The Christmas Attic by Trans-Siberian Orchestra! What are your favorite Christmas songs or cds? I am always on the lookout for new music/artists and would love to hear what you are listening to Christmas or not!! Leave me a comment and I will definately go and give them a listen!
K thinks I'm crazy for pulling out the Christmas music already...wait until he hears the Christmas ringtones I put on the cell phone this afternoon!! Right now I have it set for Christmas is Coming by Vince Guaraldi from a Charlie Brown Christmas...but it was a close one with You're a Mean One Mr. Grinch! I'm even ready to pull out the Christmas lights...I don't know what the deal is, it took me so long to get into the spirit last year!
More than you really wanted to know about me today huh?!?!
Other than that Awana music is done for this week and the two weeks after that and then we have a break the next week for Thanksgiving! I've also gotten some proofs printed off for the Commander and Store Keeper to look at for the clubbers Christmas gifts. I've gotten almost all of my laundry put away, the last load is in the washer now....and the kids put themselves down for nap and fell asleep while I was putting laundry away and they were watching a little tv! It's been a good day!
Hope you all are having a good day and Jen, I hope you are feeling better!! Big hugs!

Veteran's Banquet

A friend from church asked if I would go and take pictures of our local VFW's Veteran's Banquet. K went along and was working as their sound guy. I took over 220 pictures!! I got some pictures of PM and C's son J in his uniform and M and her husband R where he is in his uniform. There are a couple that may be used in church on Sunday since Veteran's Day is coming up.
I ended up with no kiddos today so I have been working on some projects that are just easier to do without them around, editing some pictures, making some phone calls, things like that. I have even started searching for some new Christmas music to listen to. K thinks I'm crazy, but with the weather changing and the snow coming soon it just seems to set the mood.

New picture and a little of my babble

I took this picture a couple of weeks ago while the kiddos were playing outside. We had a hard frost and this tiny little flower had survived. The advice that I have gotten about my pictures is to use the little view finder instead of the big display screen that I have been using to frame my pictures and use more of mymanual settings rather than the automatic ones...and this is one of the first ones I took using that advice. K plans to use it in the loop of our opening announcements at church and put a Bible verse on it.
Miss A came in at 6:15 this morning...I will have them until a week or so before Christmas when they move. I haven't really had the kids for a month/month and a half or so and she seems like such a big girl now! On the plus side I got an early start to my laundry and checked a couple other things off my to do list while she was waking up and watching tv and we were waiting for the other kids!
I was asked to take pictures of the Veteran's Banquet that the VFW put on a week ago. I took 228 pictures! I will share some of those coming up and maybe one of K with our booth for the Awana Fun Fair! We had 68 kids come and they went home with big smiles and bags of candy!
Hope you all have a great day!

NaBloPoMo time again!!

I'm here!! I have been TERRIBLE about blogging this last month and I was thinking of this when I was reading Jen's blog the other day and she had a post about NaBloPoMo...I had so much fun with this last year and it was just the kick in the pants I needed to get going and blog again! Thanks Jen!
I almost forgot that today was Nov. 1 and blew it right away by not posting, this weekend went haywire I had so many things going on...only a couple didn't get done and K was a HUGE help! I have a couple new pictures I want to share with you all and I'm excited just to catch up with you all again...I have been reading all your blogs, just not posting on my own!
I've had a couple more changes in regard to daycare...I found out that Miss A, Slow mo, and Little C's Dad got a new job, but they will be moving a week before Christmas to a town about two and a half hours from here. Dad went back to work on Friday and I will have the kids occasionally again starting tomorrow until they move.
I have lots more I want to share with you all, but I am exhausted and I have an early start with Miss A in the morning so I'm going to call it a night and collapse into bed.
Big hugs!

This is choice number two....this is a difficult decision!! Tell me what you think!

Choices....

Jen asked about which picture I was going to choose to have enlarged. Right now this is the one that I am thinking about. I am still looking through some more of my cds that I have stored pictures on, but so far haven't found any other picture that call out to be enlarged. I will post any others that I'm thinking about and you can help me decide. What do you think?

Surprise!

Oh my goodness, I can not begin to describe what a wonderful day yesterday was! I had the day off and I slept in a bit and did some work around the house. I headed out to run some errands and I was in and out of the house for most of the day.
One of my stops was at PM and C's house to drop off a check and card for my half of the gift for the the bridal shower that was held at church last night, we were not going to be able to go because one of PM and C's sons had a football game (their boys are like little brothers to us and we follow them to as many games as we can). PM's brother had just arrived from Milwaukee and I had a short visit with him. He has been a great encouragement to me in my photography and has given me alot of great advice, it was great to catch up with him again! He let me borrow a book on composition for the afternoon and K and I were invited back to PM and C's for desssert when I could return the book.
In the meantime we found out that the football game was cancelled so K decided to take me out for supper at the new Mexican restaurant in town, YUM! I checked my emails when we got home and found an email that told me that I had won a giveaway I had entered!!! I won the E.L.F. Cosmetics giveaway over at Extraordinary Mommy!! I couldn't believe it, I have NEVER won a giveaway before!! I really am new to the whole make up scene ( I don't want to make this a "downer" post because I am just so excited, but to explain a bit; my Mom was diagnosed with Guillan Barre syndrome, a rare form of French polio when I was 4 and the years that she would have spent teaching me all of the things a girl should know about make up and things she was relearning to walk again and how to take care of herself and us again. I hate playing that "feel sorry for me card", that is really just not me, but Ihad to put it out there as an explanation of sorts...) so just the thought of winning this giveaway is overwhelming! I am still so excited!
Well to top it all off when we went to PM and C's for dessert and to return the book last night I had also taken along some of the pictures that I had taken. PM's brother wanted to see some of what I had done with my new macro lense and was giving me some more advise on composition when he told me that if I would email him one of my favorite pictures he would blow it up and send it to me so I would be able to hang it on my wall! I was shocked! He is a very accomplished photographer who has been published, does wonderful slideshows of his pictures with music, and has his own show in a gallery coming up this month in Milwaukee and he liked some of my shots and wants to enlarge one for me! Again, I can not tell you how excited I am! I had such a hard time getting to sleep last night! Now I have to dig through my files and find the picture I want to choose....
I really really hope this does not come across wrong in my writing but I was just so excited and wanted to share with you!!!

I'm still here

I know I know I haven't been posting again....real life just seemed to take over there for a bit. I did manage to finish knitting one scarf and I started a new project, a gift for Jen, lol which when I first started to type this I gave away, but caught myself before I hit publish lol! When that project is finished I am going to knit a gift for another friend. She loves to decorate with patriotic things and I saw some Sugar 'n Cream yarn in Early American Ombre and I knew that I had to do something for her with it! I looked on the internet and found a pattern for a dish cloth with a star pattern. It's all knitting and purling and I really like that they give you the option of the directions by sets of rows like Rows 1-5 K1P1 across, ending with K1 or they give you the pattern row by row. I think I am going to use the row by row option so I can cross each row off as I go along because I know how often I will be interrupted and think now where was I??!!

We had a bit of a sleep over with some of the daycare kids the other night. I got a call from Miss A, Slow Mo, and Little C's Mom asking if I could watch the kids about a quarter after 7 Monday night because they were taking their older sister to the hospital an hour away. She had a head ache that she just couldn't get rid of and after being to the local ER and not getting alot of answers, just meds that made her sleepy but didn't get rid of the pain, they decided to take her to a bigger hospital to rule some more serious problems out. The drs up there called it an a-typical migrane and gave her fluids, three different meds, and sent her home after she was feeling better. They finally got home around 1:30 Tuesday morning. I was going to just keep the kids until they woke up in the morning for school, but Little C woke up after having an accident and I didn't have any clothes to change him into, so Dad just came and picked them all up. I was exhausted! It took a while for the kids to get to sleep, they were so excited to be having a sleepover!! I had them all out on the sofa bed and they watched a movie turned on the naptime music once that was over and they finally all did sleep. I tried to lay at the foot of the bed and sleep some, but the boys kept kicking me in the back! K slept for as long as he could in the recliner, but finally gave up and went to bed around 12:15 (poor guy has to get up at 4:30 for work and the recliner isn't the most comfortable to sleep in...I really appreciated him sticking it out for as long as he could!) and after that there was definately no sleeping for me.
I didn't have any kids yesterday so I slept in a bit, but refused to take a nap so that I would be able to sleep last night. I lasted until 10pm and then I couldn't take it anymore! My head hit the pillow and I was out and didn't move until 6:15 this morning!
I've also been helping a friend get ready to open her new quilt shop. We had one in town, but they moved to a neighboring town and there are many who miss it, so she decided to rent a space on main street and open her own! I think it is a perfect fit for her, she does alot of quilting, and she used to be Amish, giving her shop a unique little fit. I have been entering her fabrics into the compter for her and picking out some that I want to use at the same time!! I am close to finishing my first quilt and can't wait to get started on more with some of the fabrics she has in the shop!
Well, this is getting terribly long so I guess I'll quit for now.....hope you all are having a great day! Big hugs!

An award!

Jen from Following the Footsteps gave me this award! Thank you so much Jen! It really means alot!!! It's my turn to pass it on now....I choose to give it to:

Steffie B. at ~Never Too Many~

Erin at Callie and Avery

Dani at Dani:Black Belt Stitching Wizard

Mir at Woulda Coulda Shoulda

and Jack's Mom at Jackaroo World

Thanks again Jen!!!

I'm posting and it's not Friday lol!

Labor Day weekend was GREAT! K took me shopping and bought me some new tops in a neighboring town and a friend had two boxes of easy piano music that she was getting rid of and gave me the first chance to go through and pick out any that I would like. I came home with one box full! I got alot of "oldies" music...books of hits from the 50's, 60's, and 70's and a few from the 80's and '00's. I think there are a couple of country hits books in there too. One of my favorites has quite a few songs from Disney movies and my favorite...Return to Pooh Corner! Yeah, I'm a big kid!
We survived our first day of preschool for Mr. T and R yesterday. It will be a bit interesting about lunch time. R will be getting off the bus and Mr. T will be getting on at the same time. We will have to do lunch in two shifts. It will be a bit nicer though, I was expecting one bus to come to drop R off and a half hour or so later another one stop to pick Mr. T up. Maybe this will make things a little less hectic.
Awana really begins tonight! We had a club night last week, but no sections were said, it was a get to know you night. I've already promised the girls that they can listen to my sections as I work through the book right along with them, as long as they are doing their sections. They seemed to like that!
Hope you all had a great weekend and are having a great day today!

Catching up again!

I guess I have a thing for blogging on Fridays huh?! I have been working on a couple of big projects that had to be done this week. I completely finished the first one and did my part on the second and now that they are all done things will get back to a more "normal" schedule. Whatever that is!
Our Awana year has officially started and I have a good group of 5th grade girls. I really enjoyed my first night with them!
I am also officially done teaching Sunday School. It is going to be a change, but I look forward to what I will learn and how I will grow attending the Ladies' class. Another one of our changes this year is that we will not be having our opening singing like we have in the past. We have had to move some classes around and one is in the back of our main auditorium, where we normally hold our opening, and we don't want to interrupt the class so for now no opening. We are hoping to get one room remodeled and the class can then go back into that room and we will have our opening again. I will help with that when it starts up again as the other teacher that has worked with me is gone often, and when she is there we hope to use her to play piano with some of the music for the kids. That is also the time we use for our Junior Choir to practice and at times we have parts and we need the extra teacher to help lead groups if they have different parts.
I have picked up a bit of a new job in Awana though. We are making quite a few changes there, a new database for all of our recordkeeping (which was what one of my jobs was...to get all the clubber and leader information typed in so it would be ready for our secretaries to use on our first club night), character studies for our council times, songs to match the theme, our theme nights to match if possible....lots of new things to try! We have also split up our music between four people instead of just one person doing it. This month is my turn. We are starting out with some songs that we learned in Vacation Bible School this summer. It went really well the first night!
Well, I need to get working on some PowerPoint so I had better stop babbeling! Have a great weekend!

Where did this week go??

Wow, with this new schedule the days are just flying by! I'm still trying to get used to getting up an ho ur earlier than I had been. It's been good, I've been getting alot more done, but I have been so tired at the end of the day! Monday I ate supper and the next thing I knew I was waking up at nine to go up to bed and I had no problem getting back to sleep and slept through the night!
The schedule is changing again as there were more let go from K's job and one of my daycare Dads was let go (Little C, Slo-Mo, and Miss A's Dad). Another friend of ours was let go as well. I will be done by about 4 at the latest now. Otherwise it will be noon on Tuesdays and Thursdays, one on Fridays, and three on Mondays and Wednesdays if I don't have L, Mr. T, and Tater. I don't know what will happen with the other three, their Dad was on the phone with "headhunters" all day yesterday and there has been talk about a move too. I have a few projects going on right now that I am not complaining about the extra time, but it is a hit to the pocketbook and sad to think about them moving. My daycare families are like family to us.
I am excited today...last night we recorded two radio messages and tonight we have music practice tonight!! We haven't had music practice in a LONG TIME!!! I also got some powerpoint to do after a month of not having any! And there was an extra worksheet to type!
We have a birthday party for Tater on Saturday and an Awana meeting on Sunday. It should be a fun filled weekend!
I hope you all have a great weekend too!

Too cute not to share!

I go around the table and give each of the kids a chance to pray before we eat lunch. Today Tater prayed "Thank you for my food, The End!"

Rainy day

Yesterday afternoon was alot of fun! C had ALOT of corn! I husked and she cut it off the cobs and mixed it with half and half (I think) and butter and baked it for an hour and then put it into bags to keep in the freezer. We had some good talks while we were working on that! PM and C are such an encouragement to me, such great friends, I am so thankful for them!
It's a rainy day today and I have three boys to keep busy! We've watched a little tv and now they are coloring. We will probably bring out the playdough at some point, and the big floor puzzles, maybe even a board game or two.
I'm still adjusting to the new schedule and getting up an hour earlier for R, the next door neighbor's little guy. We'll see how long I have to keep up this schedule, his Mom has a meeting about her financial aid to go back to school this afternoon. If it doesn't work out I don't think she will be able to keep going.
Tonight is meet the team night at school. I don't know how much "fun" that's going to be if it keeps raining. Hopefully they have a plan B!

First day of school!

Today is the first day of school! The daycare kids have a variety of feelings about this. L is quite happy and excited, T doesn't seem to care either way, and right now it really doesn't mean much to Tater. Miss C is the oldest sister in the other family and she has been panicked, she goes to Jr High this year and it is a whole new situation with no desk to leave her books in and going to a different room for each class. It will also be much bigger for her, she has gone to one of the outlying schools and their class sizes are much smaller, but they all come in to the school in town for Jr High and High School. Mr. C seems to be quite excited about it, I-man, I'm not sure about, and Miss A can't wait for her preschool to start. Things may slow down a bit work wise for me, we are still trying to work out a schedule or two. I have also picked up one more daycare kiddo for now....R from next door. His Mom is going back to school if she can get the financial aid. The problem is that her school starts today and she won't find out about her financial aid for sure until tomorrow after school.
I have R until about noon and Miss A is coming for an hour while Mom takes I-man to his school to meet the teacher for about an hour. After they leave I am going to go and hang out with C for a while this afternoon. They had another friend drop off some sweet corn and she asked if I would help her out taking care of it. I had yesterday off and sat around the house and did my Sunday School lesson, billing, laundry, made up some birthday and anniversary cards, and counted down the time until prayer meeting, so I was very happy to have the invitation to leave the house and spend time with one of my best friends!
Well enough babbeling for now, hope you all have a great day!
Hugs!

Elmo Live!

The kids had a great time! The boys Mom and I enjoyed last year's story a little better lol, but the kids were really into it and that's all that matters! And as a bonus they all slept on the hour drive home!!
